In case you were wondering......I'm still alive and kickin'!  It's been quite some time since I have been able to blog and I am way behind.  With a sick husband (pneumonia for 2+ weeks), 2 children's birthdays eleven days apart, my oldest son's baptism and just everyday life events this past month I have been super busy!  I'm glad to report that my husband is MUCH better, the birthdays and baptism were GREAT and we are back on a fairly normal schedule.  At least for a little while I hope!  Anyways, we went to the beach as a family about a month ago and I am just now editing these pictures.  Here are some of my faves!

Precious

My baby girl Sophia is getting so big and is such a precious little girl.  She is now 5 months old and I can't believe it!  She is such a joy to be with.  She loves to play patty-cake, have tummy time, rolls over both ways and is working on getting her first tooth.  She loves to stick her tongue out and loves having our undivided attention.  She is a doll baby!!!!!  Here are a few pictures from a recent photo shoot I did to capture her at 5 months.  Love you sweet baby girl!!!!!

Baby "B" and Big Sister

I had the awesome opportunity to meet some new clients this past weekend.  They were referred to me by a friend and I'm so glad!  Such a sweet family and two of the most adorable kiddos you would ever want to meet.  Big sister was so cute with her baby brother and such a joy to work with.  We got to play with her mouse, read a little "Fancy Nancy" and capture sweet memories of these two together.  Thank you so much for the opportunity to work with you "S" family.  Enjoy your sneak peek! :-) 

Baby "E"

Don't you just love all the little newborn baby parts?  Squishy foreheads, tiny fingers, little eyelashes.  So cute and so precious!!!!!  I tried my hand for the first time at using a macro lens and I LOVED it!  Little Miss E was a modest little thing and did not like her clothes being removed but we persevered! :-)  Thanks O and G for sticking it out and allowing me to photograph your new precious little girl.  She is just darling!  Congrats and enjoy your sneak peek!

Happy Thanksgiving

I love this time of year!  It's a time that we can concentrate on the many blessings we have in our life.  This year has been full of many blessings for me and my family.  Too many to list all of them here but I wanted to share a few of my thoughts.  As most of you know we were blessed with the arrival of our baby girl Sophia.  She made her debut in August and we are forever grateful for her and her birthmother.  She has been such a joy and is so much fun!!!! 

I have also been blessed this year with my business really taking off and I am so grateful for EACH and EVERY one of my clients.  You have trusted me with such a special job of photographing your family and I am so grateful for that!  Thank you!!!!!  I can't post without a picture so here are a few of my little Sophia during her 12 week photoshoot.  Isn't she cute?!!!!!!

He is SO cute!

This is what I kept telling this little guy's mommy.  He is so cute!  He has a face that anybody would just love to kiss.  ADORABLE!  I had such a fun time with this little guy, his mommy and his big sis too!  Big sis even brought her bestie to the shoot and we got some fun ones of them too!  Thanks Kacey for such a fun shoot and for sharing your cute kiddos.  I have the BEST clients.  Enjoy your sneak peek! :-)

This past weekend I spent a few days visiting my cousing Tasha and her family.  We had a great time catching up!!!  It was so fun to hang out, talk shop and take pictures.  Here are a few of her adorable family.  Thanks Tash for a fun weekend and enjoy your sneak peek! 

It's a small world after all........

especially since I joined Facebook.  ;-)  I recently connected with an old friend from my days at Boise State University.  Come to find out....she lives close by.  Such a small world!  I recently had the awesome opportunity to photograph her and her family.  What an adorable family!!!!  Cute, cute kiddos and the mom and dad are a very cute couple too!!!  Oh and they get the best dressed award for coordinating their outfits.  A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E.  Thanks "F" family for a fun afternoon session just before the rain started.  We were lucky!  Enjoy your sneak peek!!!!

I Heart My Job

Really?  I get paid to do this?  I have so much fun doing it!  I consider it such a blessing to be able to capture such precious memories for my clients.  This photoshoot was no different.  Clients like the "H" family make my job easy.  They are so much fun, have such adorable chemistry and are just darn cute!!!!!!  It's been fun to document these little ones along the way.  I can hardly believe that little Miss "E" turned 3 and her "little" brother is already so BIG!  Thanks guys for a fun day on the farm.  Enjoy your sneak peek!
